This industrial platform project required detailing of a complex multi-level structure designed to support heavy equipment and provide safe access for operations and maintenance. The structure included extensive stair systems, walkways, and safety railings, all of which had to be coordinated within a tight footprint. The challenge was to deliver a clash-free model with precise connections and platform alignments, ensuring both structural stability and compliance with safety standards. Our Approach And Solution
Nexont Engineering utilized SDS2 to create a precise 3D model of the entire platform, including main framing, secondary members, and access systems. Our detailing team paid special attention to stairs, handrails, and grating supports to ensure that every element was fabricated and installed without rework. Complex connections were detailed with accuracy to withstand the heavy load requirements of industrial operations. Internal phased reviews and stringent QA/QC processes ensured error-free drawings, while close coordination with the client and fabricator kept the project on track with both safety and schedule goals.
